Eric Olson is an accomplished medical illustrator with over a decade of professional experience creating medical graphics for major pharmaceutical, device, and patient education companies. His current and former client list includes Krames-Staywell, Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Novartis and Solvay Pharmaceuticals. He has also provided graphics for the Department of Defense, ACUMED Inc., The Vitiligo and Pigmentation Institute of Southern California, Guthy-Renker, and WebMD.

Prior to opening Eric T. Olson Illustration and Design, Eric was employed as Medical Art Manager for Krames Staywell in the California Bay Area. Eric managed a team of medical illustrators and storyboard artists to create patient education materials. Prior to Krames, he was employed as a Senior Medical Illustrator with Medsn, Inc. in Los Angeles, California working with a team of medical writers and programmers to create medical training programs for major pharmaceutical companies.

Eric has expertise in patient education, medical devices, continuing medical education (CME), drug mechanisms of action, surgical procedures, information layout, medical news/marketing, and pharmaceutical training. A Certified Medical Illustrator (CMI) since 2007, he is a member of the Association of Medical Illustrators, and has received numerous awards for his artwork. His work has appeared in a number of publications including, The Journal of Biocommunication, New Atlas of Human Anatomy, Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma, Cell Magazine, and The Development of Psychopathology: A Neuroscience Approach.
